My kitty was coughing like he was trying to hack up a fur-ball, only it was deeper than that. After being pointed to Loving Care by Gladstone Animal Shelter, I called in to make an appointment.

The only thing I didn't like all that well is that it took an 8-day wait to get in. That explains the 3½ star rating.

But, once there, as warned, the office is of open design rather than having separate exam rooms. I like that because I like to be a part of my pet's care in every way possible. The staff and the doctor are all very nice, extremely caring and helped me get my kitty from and back to my car as I am on a cane. I was expecting a bit of a large bill, but was pleasantly surprised at the affordability of services rendered which were as much as an exam as the doctor could give since my kitty got very upset hissing, growling and refusing to leave his carrier. The doctor provided some medicine for me to give 2ce a day for 14 days and sent us home. We'll see how my kitty does.
