Dr. Tang is a clinical psychologist who provides consultation, psychotherapy, and psychological / neuropsychological assessments. Dr. Tang works with people with a wide array of life difficulties, but has specialized training with developmental disabilities, severe mental illness, and chronic pediatric medical conditions.
Dr. Tang received her doctorate in clinical psychology at Michigan State University and predoctoral internship training at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. She completed postdoctoral training at University of Washington Medical Center where she worked on interdisciplinary teams in the evaluation of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. She also completed postdoctoral training at Seattle Children's Hospital providing inpatient psychiatric care. Dr. Tang moved to the East Bay in 2011 and has an private therapy office in Pleasanton. She provides compassionate evidence based care to children, adults, and families.
