Fertility Institute of Hawai‘i has some of the highest success rates in advanced reproductive techniques, including artificial insemination, in-vitro fertilization, pre-implantation genetic screening and diagnosis, and fertility preservation. Drs. Frattarelli and Karmon are board-certified and trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, with over 25 years combined experience in providing individualized, compassionate care.

Our desire is to produce a pregnancy that will result in the birth of a normal child using methods that optimize the utilization of your emotional, financial and physical resources. Thus, we thoughtfully move into the treatment phase. Treatment options may include the use of ovulation induction agents to enhance the production of healthy eggs, minimally invasive surgery such as laparoscopy or hysteroscopy to correct anatomical abnormalities of the female pelvic organs; intrauterine insemination (IUI) of washed sperm that is precisely timed for when fertilization could occur, or more advanced care such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

FIH was so great to work with. IVF is a crazy thing to go through but they made it feel much more manageable than I thought it would be. They were quick to respond to my many questions and was professional and honest with all their information. I had to commute from off island and they really tried to make it as easy as possible. Thank you guys!!!

Unparalleled. In the hardest years of my life you have all been a beacon of hope. We quite literally could not have done this without you all. From the front desk staff, to the MAs, to the lab, to Zoey, to Silivia, to Dr. Fraterelli - you have all been so kind to us. I have NEVER had a bad encounter with any staff members. Though this journey was long, I never felt alone, and for that I am so grateful. Infertility has a way of isolating you but this office has felt like home. Thank you for dedicating your times and lives to this specialty.
