Dr. Frids medical career began at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she was accepted for an elite 7 year BA/MD program. She went on to do her post graduate training in Neurology at North Shore University Hospital - Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine, where during her final year of residency, she was selected to serve as a chief resident.
To continue her medical training at North Shore LIJ University Hospital, Dr. Frid enrolled into a very competitive and highly skilled neurological fellowship in Electrophysiology (NCS/EMG/EP) under the close watch of Dr. Murthy Vishnubhakat, a 30+ year neurology specialist, and an Electroencephalography (EEG) fellowship with Dr. Cynthia Harden, a nationally recognized published author for medical reviews and chief of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Care Institute at North Shore LIJ Health Systems.
