r. Kelvin Barry began practicing the craft of podiatry in 2007 and immediately developed a reputation as a caring and dedicated physician.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2000 from Brooklyn College, Dr. Barry entered New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2004.
Dr. Barry then started his podiatric surgical training soon thereafter, at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. From 2004 to 2007 Dr. Barry received extensive training in medical and surgical management of all medical conditions and biomechanical disorders affecting the foot and ankle. He had three years experience of foot surgery (reconstructive and trauma), wound care, and primary podiatric foot and ankle medicine and orthopedics. During his residency training Dr. Barry performed over 1,200 surgical procedures.
ServicesWith more than six years of private practice experience, Dr. Barry is a licensed podiatric physician and surgeon who is well versed in the medical and surgical treatment of all foot and ankle conditions. He specializes in surgical correction of bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, toe and fractures of the foot, congenital deformities, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, trauma and sports-related injuries. Dr. Barry is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.
