My name is Mehmet Genc, MD, and I am a professor in the University of Florida Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I attended medical school at Istanbul University in Turkey and completed a PhD program in clinical bacteriology at Uppsala University in Sweden. Following medical school, I completed my residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at New York Presbyterian Hospital followed by a fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital with a focus in maternal fetal medicine.
