ServicesAlthough caregiving is not a diagnosis, the stress of caring for someone who is living with chronic illness or facing a life limiting condition can be overwhelming. Counseling offers one form of support to help family members develop resilience and coping strategies for the journey of caregiving.
Family education sessions and meetings are available on cognitive loss and the impact of dementia on the family for $45 per hour.
Occasional Skype sessions are available as an adjunct to in person sessions. Skype alone is insufficient for the work of counseling but Skype is an option when travel is difficult. Fees structure is the same as in-office counseling sessions. Kate prefers an initial face-to-face session prior to Skyping. Additional ServicesAlzheimer's, Loss or Grief, Anxiety or Fears
