About
INGRID FULLERTON
Dr. Ingrid Fullerton’s main goal is to treat the root causes of health problems, not merely the symptoms. She believes in a holistic wellness approach which combines Chiropractic Care with muscle balance using Physical Therapy, Myofascial Release, Rapid Release Technique and Strength/Stretching Exercises. Mind/Body Balance, Emotional Release Technique and Applied Clinical Nutrition are also utilized to bring about true optimal health.
Chiropractic:
Dr. Fullerton uses a gentle approach in her adjustive techniques. She adjusts using diversified technique, cranialsacral therapy, as well as a gentle impulse instrument when needed. She applies neuromuscular release technique to muscle imbalances as well. For injuries old and new, the Rapid Release is an instrument used to break down fibrous adhesions, or scar tissue. These approaches bring about greater mobility and flexibility which increases health and well-being.
As a former gymnast of 14 years, Dr. Fullerton has an increased understanding of exercise therapy to balance muscles and strengthen joints. She is aware of the athletic mentality as she works with athletes throughout the season to keep them on the field. Her strong background in dance and years of teaching gymnastics and water aerobics have given her experience needed in teaching her patients better techniques in joint and muscle health.
Chiropractic is for the whole family. Dr. Fullerton enjoys treating infants, children, pregnant women and men and women of all ages. As a mother of 5 boys, she can appreciate the health needs of children and teens. Her boys all started their chiropractic care just days after birth and were taught nutrition at an early age. Chiropractic and nutritional care help support and strengthen the immune system at any age, aiding in prevention of disease.
Clinical Nutrition:
As an Applied Clinical Nutritionist, Dr. Fullerton focuses on testing the body for body system and nutritional imbalances. She addresses your issues using whole food nutrition as well as whole food supplementation, which can support the systems in the body, facilitating healing and health. Research shows that given proper nutrition, the right nutrients, the human body has an amazing ability to repair and heal itself. Whole food supplements supply our bodies with nutrients we are not getting from our diet and fill in the nutritional gap.
Dr. Fullerton finds it so rewarding to inform and educate patients on reading food labels and directing them to eat delicious whole foods custom to their needs to increase nutrient absorption, health and wellbeing. Food is a powerful tool in aiding the healing process.
Mind & Body Balance:
Our mind and body are controlled by the brain. A large portion the brain we use is our subconscious mind which is like the hard drive of a computer system. It catalogs and keeps in memory every thought, sight, taste and action we experience. It is the subconscious brain that we can ask questions about the body, through muscle testing. Much like a lie detector test, we can test the body by asking questions and getting positive or negative answers.
Often we find imbalances in the different areas which influence the body. Some of the areas might be emotional imbalances, toxins, pathogens, discrepancies in the organs, glands or systems of the body, nutritional imbalances or changes needed in lifestyle. By finding the incongruence’s, we can make the corrections needed to bring proper balance to the body.
More often than not, negative emotions from past emotional baggage we carry are often the cause of pain, both physically and emotionally. Those emotions carry a negative energy that can cause a negative frequency and are often lodged in painful or weakened places in the body. Releasing negative emotions can bring balance to the mind and body, increasing wellbeing.
Because energy knows no bounds, it is possible to apply release work to anyone, regardless of where they live. Ask Dr. Fullerton about remote treatment options for patients who cannot come in to the office. It is amazing how our minds and bodies work together to bring about healing.
Your body has the innate ability to heal itself from disease. With the guidance Dr. Fullerton offers, you can achieve the optimal health you deserve.
