Services
Aromatherapy-Essential oils that are inhaled into the lungs and applied on the skin offer both psychological and physical benefits. The aroma of the natural essential oil can stimulate the brain to trigger a reaction, and the natural constituents (naturally occurring chemicals) can supply therapeutic benefit, especially when applied to acupoints. Essential oils are custom-selected for the individual. $15/add-on, $40/treatment
Cupping-Based on the meridian theory of the body, cupping involves applying vacuum cups to areas of ischemic (tight/sore) muscle tissue. Cupping removes any stagnation in the body and opens the meridians so that qi can flow freely. It also helps to rejuvenate certain meridians and organs that are not functioning at their best. From a Western standpoint, cupping is known to help activate the lymphatic system, promote blood circulation, and is good for deep tissue repair. Cupping is wonderful for chronic pain and respiratory problems. It can be added to any massage. $15/add-on, $40/treatment
Integrated Bodywork-Acupressure/shiatsu-based techniques combined with Western therapeutic massage for stress-related concerns including emotional pain, physical pain, migraines, anxiety, gastro-intestinal disorders, asthma, menstrual/menopausal dysfunction. No needles are used. Heat, acupressure, stretching, and facilitated gentle postural exercises (Sotai) are included in this therapy. $80/60 minutes
Swedish Massage-A whole body massage using organic allergen-free lotion on the skin. Techniques used include stroking (effleurage), kneading (petrissage), percussion, vibration, and friction. This is the most well known form of massage and is used primarily to improve circulation, digestion and relaxation. It is a good "starter" massage and is gentle enough for seniors and pregnant women. Swedish can be combined with essential oils for a perfect custom lotion blend to soothe and restore. $40/30 minutes $75/60 minutes
Deep Tissue-Releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of muscles, tendons and fascia. It is called deep tissue, because it also focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It is helpful in realigning the body, improving posture, and bringing about freedom of movement. $45/30 minutes $80/60 minutes
Trigger Point Therapy-Also known as Myotherapy or Neuromuscular Therapy. Applies concentrated finger pressure and fascial stretching to "trigger points" (extremely painful irritated areas in muscles that refer pain to other places in the body) to break cycles of spasm and pain. Heat and cold therapies and herbal liniments are often used in this treatment. $45/30 minutes $80/60 minutes
Employee/Event Chair Massage-On site massage. Massage chairs are used to position the client. 5, 10 or 15 minute massages are offered to decrease stress, increase alertness, and boost performance. The client remains fully clothed and no oils are used. Two hour minimum, all equipment and supplies provided. Advance booking required, please call for a quote.
Package pricing is available in three, six and nine one hour session series. You typically save $30-60 dollars when purchasing multiple sessions. Gift certificates are available in 30 to 90 minute increments.

My first massage with Suzanne for chronic back and leg pain. I was comfortable and pleased with the ambiance, as well as clarity of what she was doing, and the care she took as she worked on my aching body.
So far, so good. I would definitely recommend her services.
