Dr. Kevin Lee Metros is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (Newark) in 1981. He served his Surgery internship at the National Naval Academy Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland in 1982, and completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego in 1987.
Dr. Metros is able to treat and manage musculoskeletal problems using surgery alone or in combination with other therapies, including medication, exercise, rehabilitative therapy, and prevention. He is one of the few orthopedic surgeons in North San Diego County who specializes in minimally invasive anterior approach hip replacements using the Hana® table. Additional services include:
