I have been a patient of Dr. Webb and Dr. Saliba for 3-4 years. I have 3-4 yearly exams with them. It has been a bad experience every time I go there. Here are my complaints and why you should not see either doctor:
* Both Dr. Saliba and Dr. Webb have an office in the same office space. In fact, there is 1 front desk and both offices have someone sitting at the same desk. They are extremely unprofessional when you “stand in the wrong line.” In fact, they love making you feel silly for standing in the wrong line. “Imagine there is an imaginary line here. This is Dr Saliba and this is Dr Webb.” They say it in a real passive aggressive manner. * Dr. Webb seems to overbook all the time. In fact, each yearly exam took 3+ hours. I tried doing it during my lunch break, but I had to call off work. The last appointment I had was on my birthday. Nothing like spending 3 hours in an eye dr office, and 2.5 hours is sitting in the waiting room, the waiting hall, 2 different exams rooms. It also takes 4 months to get in to even get an appt. * This appointment on my birthday I was also supposed to get glasses; however, Dr Saliba office didn’t want to wait for Dr Webbs overbooked patients so they left for the day and I had to come in again to get glasses. * I came in once to get my glasses adjusted and they gave me a hard time about trying to get new bottle of free lens cleaner spray. * Here is the final straw: I got new glasses May 2016. I came in April 2017 for a frame fitting/adjustment. The lady said they had a scratch and they are covered 100%. It was not something I noticed or cared about. Since they were covered 100% and I didn't have to leave my glasses I decided to have them ordered. When I picked it up this Monday, I was told there was a $20 charge since they were past 1 year old. This is not true. They were under 1 year old. Yes it is only $20, but to a person who has a family that is a lot. I could have figured a better way to spend $20 on my son, etc. *I was told the charge stands, but I was never told what the charge is for.
*While the $20 charge seems petty, it was the final fuel to the already burning fire. I would NEVER see either doctor even again. In fact, if you are reading this looking for a new doctor TAKE MY WORD FOR IT – see someone else!!
My wife and a co-worker saw Kane and Figler which is right down the road. I would highly recommend them. You can get in same week and you are there no more than an hour: Exam + new glasses
