I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and groups. As a writer, I enjoy working with people in the arts or those interested in the creative process. Blocked creativity can hinder our passion, make us feel more depressed, or seem lackluster in our careers and relationships. Psychotherapy is a process in which we can first learn about ourselves in relation to another who can help us shed light on unhealthy patterns.
My approach is to help you unlock feelings in order to begin to make better decisions and infuse your life with creativity and desire. I specialize in working with people suffering from addiction and impulse control disorders, as well as those interested in exploring issues related to their sexuality or gender identities.
I believe the best outcome for therapy is when a person is able to move through painful blocks and feel more expansive, open, energized. I have an advanced degree in the arts and can also work with students artists, writers or scholars who are facing creative blocks or attempting book projects.
