Joseph B. Alexander, LMFT is excited to announce the opening of Footprints Counseling, PLLC 1/16/2014 conveniently located at 3410 Healy Drive 200-A. He enjoys working with couples, families and individuals and kids 8+. Formerly of CareNet Counseling, he has decided to open his own practice to offer her clients a place of solace to work on their issues. He is an LMFT and also has training in Pastoral Counseling, which means he can deal with spiritual issues as well as mental health issues.

Rev. Alexander provides counseling to individuals (adults as well as older children 8+ and adolescents), couples and families for grief issues, depression, anxiety, vocational and relational issues as well as most forms of personal, marital, and family problems. Although Joseph's license is a Marriage and Family Therapist, he has also been theologically trained and can explore spiritual issues and crises as a pastoral counselor. Joseph has particular interest in working with couples and working with grief issues with individuals and groups.
He says he believes his role as a counselor is not to be "an expert who gives answers, but as one who journeys along side others as they seek to find their own answers and where God may be leading them." People usually come in the midst of a storm and he believes it is important to provide a place of solace where folks can process their situation with someone not emotionally involved with with their situation.
