Angela Pham, MS, RD, CD, LMHCA
Angela Pham is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. She specializes in working with women and men who struggle with eating disorders and body image concerns.
Angela has offices both in Renton and the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. She offers a free phone consult to discuss which services would be a good fit for you, or to help you find other providers that specialize in eating disorders. Please call 206-245-9543 to set up a phone consult.
Angela believes that many people who struggle from eating disorders downplay the profound impact it has on their lives. But ultimately, their feelings of isolation, lack of control, and self-loathing, engulf them. She strongly believes that professional help is often necessary, and she is passionate about helping her clients find the keys to freedom and peace.
Her work focuses on opening the door to mindful, pleasurable eating, and self-confidence by teaching you skills, providing education, and empowering you to advocate for you health. Women and men of all sizes are welcome.

Services
At a Deeper Look Therapy, Angela uses a non-diet approach to help clients build trusting relationships with food and promote health. She believes that bodies naturally come in all shapes and sizes. As your nutrition counselor, she will work with you to understand how to fuel your unique body and initiate sustainable behavioral changes. She teaches nutrition concepts using the Intuitive Eating model, such as honoring your hunger, feeling your fullness, making peace with food, and rejecting the diet mentality.
She is accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a nationally recognized registered dietitian. A registered dietitian, RD, must complete an internship including over a 1,000 practice hours and pass a national board certification examination. Registered dietitians are required to complete continuing education courses regularly.
As a mental health counselor, Angela works with you to be aware of your emotions and find ways to get your needs met without using eating disorder behaviors. She explores the deeper issues that underlie why people turn to food for control, comfort, sense of belonging, and ultimately a solution to life's many problems. Angela prefers to work with other providers on your team, such as doctors, dietitians, psychiatrists, and chiropractors/NDs.
