From your first visit to Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, our goal is to create a unique medical experience that you will never forget...In fact, you may want to tell your friends about it! Our experienced doctors and highly qualified and caring staff members work with patients to develop a winning game plan. The strategy begins with state-of-the-art digital x-ray and, if necessary, onsite open sided MRI technology.
We've learned that a difficult process can be made simple. Our patients move through their treatment with confidence, and we take the time to explain the process and answer all questions as thoroughly as possible.

Your visit to the surgery center begins with education. By answering every question and covering every detail, our goal is to alleviate apprehension and begin the focus on recovery.
Prior to surgery, patients are encouraged to tour the facility, meet the staff and experience our dedication and enthusiasm firsthand. Patient peace of mind is a priority at the Coronado Surgery Center, and our staff stays committed through every minute of a patient's stay in our facility.
Conveniently located in our 40,000 square foot orthopedic-based facility, our surgery center has been designed and built with a focus on the most modern technology and highest standards in patient care, comfort and safety.
Our facility design and innovative procedures meet or exceed the stringent state requirements for outpatient surgery centers, and our results speak for themselves.
Dr. Crovetti has pioneered cutting edge, minimally invasive surgical techniques for joint replacements that dramatically reduce operative times and move patients quickly to ambulation.
These innovative techniques and commitment to early movement eliminate the need for routine blood transfusions and urinary catheters that can be found in hip and knee replacements performed in the traditional hospital setting. In addition, the exceptionally clean environment dramatically reduces exposure to surgical infections.
Recovery: we treat you like a rockstar!
Once you've experienced one of our recovery suites you may wish you could stay on for a while, but our goal is to get you back in your game! We believe that recovery from surgery should be as comfortable as possible, while providing the best in specialized nursing care.
A typical two night stay in the recovery center allows our patients the full benefit of focused recovery, along with an expedited transition to continuing recovery at home.
Our private recovery suites provide an environment that feels like home (or maybe a five-star hotel), creating positive energy to speed your recovery. Each room features a Murphy bed with plush Tempur-Pedic mattress and luxury linens, a sleeper for an overnight guest, flat screen television, wireless internet connection, and private bath with walk-in shower. While not in use, the bed folds into the wall to allow space for private physical therapy sessions.
Our recovery patients and guests have access to meals from our onsite caf for breakfast, lunch and snacks, while dinners are provided by the patient's choice of several local award winning restaurants.
