Melissa Kanenbley is a Clinical Social Work Intern in the state of Florida. She earned her bachelor of Social Work degree with honors from Monmouth University, and master of Social Work degree with honors through Barry University, which she completed in 2005.
Melissa has worked extensively with individuals, adolescents, couples, groups and families in a broad range of settings. She provides a psychodynamic therapeutic approach to best suit each clients individual needs. Melissa has received extensive training in early childhood development, major mental illness, addiction, progressive relaxation, rational emotive therapy, psycho education therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and group therapeutic techniques.
Melissa enjoys working with clients in all areas of need utilizing a holistic approach to psychotherapy. She encourages her clients to seek strength from within through empowerment, recognition of strengths, and resilience.
