My experience of Martin is that he is a skilled clinician, but more in touch with his notes than he is with his patient. I had a great first visit -- he was thorough, careful, and mostly effective (a few of his techniques felt as if they did nothing... perhaps I'm just insensitive); but every subsequent visit was cursory: he did what his notes said, but seemed to pay little attention to what was going on with my body in that moment. I left each of these subsequent visits feeling like the work was incomplete and therefore ineffective and dissatisfying.
