I have found Dr Sisson is able to find what is wrong and suggest the best non invasive way to treat your issue. I have gone to Dr Sisson periodically for 20 years for problems from diet to muscle and back pain and he created a plan and they have worked every time. His exercises stretches and diet suggestions have made me healthy without having to take pain meds or other medication a regular Dr would have prescribed.

My original experience with applied kinesiology (chiropractic) was in the early 1980s in upstate NY. After over six months of constant lower back pain and many doctor appointments and tests by 'Western Medicine' doctors, that chiropractor determined that my body did not want white potatoes, iceberg lettuce, and Motrin (which the other doctors had prescribed). I removed those from my diet/system and the back pain stopped. Really! Apparently my stomach or digestive system was somehow causing the back pain.
Years after moving to Swansboro NC, some health issues burdened me again. After trying a variety of chiropractors in the Jacksonville and Morehead City NC areas with no results, I remembered years ago in NY. After asking one of the Morehead City doctors where I could find someone who practiced applied kinesiology, I was referred to Dr. Sisson in Wilmington NC. This was about 20 years ago. The drive is long, but well worth it. My visits are irregular now. I try to see Dr. Sisson about every 3-4 months.
In the mid 1990s, when I became tired of the long drive to Wilmington and time involved, I tried the allergist option. This is interesting... the molds, etc. that tested positive were the same ones that Dr. Sisson previously identified. But - since insurance would pay for the allergist and it was close to home, I tried the treatment... for awhile. Yep - my husband and I learned how to inject shots in my thighs. It was ok for awhile, But - after gradually increasing the dosage (which was the plan for me), I felt worse and worse. So - enough of that - and I was back to Dr. Sisson periodically to check my needs. His supplements work better (for me) than those allergy shots.
Since I live so far away and don't go often, I schedule double or triple appointments to allow plenty of time for testing and treatment. Many people are hesitant to try chiropractic care. However, Dr. Sisson is not the 'snap and crack' kind of doctor. His treatments are gentle and may include deep tissue work and acupuncture as needed. Dr. Sisson not only keeps up with any chiropractic requirements, he's always continuing his education. Highly recommended!
