As a therapist, I practice within the osteopathic principles that the body is a unit and has innate mechanisms for self-healing and repair. My treatments work in conjunction with the bodys own healing responses to facilitate a deeply penetrating, pain-free muscle release. These techniques are extremely powerful, and have immediate effects. So while I do not perform what is traditionally considered a deep tissue massage, by working with your body, my treatments are inherently deep. I am trained in Prenatal & Postpartum massage, Oncology Massage, Massage for Fibromyalgia, Therapeutic Stone Massage, and will be completing my Medical Massage Certification in March, and am studying Ortho-Bionomy. While my work is adapted to meet the needs of each client by customizing each session, I specialize in treatments which are ideal for inflammatory conditions, chronic pain, acute injury, as well as stress and its associated symptoms.
