ServicesInstructor is both a registered yoga teacher and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Students can expect to learn how to quiet the mind and calm the nerves. Over time participants will experience a steady and balanced breath, a steady and balanced body and a steady and balanced mind.
Therapeutic yoga sessions include cognitive/behavioral therapy together with personalized yoga postures, meditation training and breathing practices. Goals shall be established at the beginning of treatment with the general goal being that participants learn to better manage their own physical, mental, and emotional stability.
One hour sessions include meditation, focused breathing practices and yoga postures found to be useful for general anxiety, insomnia, performance anxiety, reactive anger, impulse control, and depression.
Immediate results are lower anxiety and a sense of well-being.
Long term results are resilience in the face of lifes challenges, improved physical and emotional strength, self confidence, and a sense of well-being.
