In the northern Michigan town of Petoskey, in the old gaslight district, a small office in an historic building houses a counseling and herbalism practice. People come for counseling, herbal consultations & assessments, or both. They find themselves face to face with a person uniquely qualified to help them find their best solutions.
In a practice that spans nearly 30 years, Gwen has spent over 50,000 hours working with people from all walks of life who are facing every imaginable challenge to their well-being and happiness. Her approach incorporates many techniques, which she tailors to your individual needs and preferred way of working.
Gwen is licensed in the State of Michigan as a Master Social Worker and has worked in medical and behavioral health centers in four states and in one sovereign tribal nation as a clinician, trainer and supervisor of other clinicians. Her academic training includes degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Wisconsin. She earned the designation of Master Herbalist in 2005. She can accept insurance reimbursement from the major insurers in Northern Michigan (Tricare/MHN, Priority Health, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Medicare) and also accepts clients on a private pay basis.

Not a very good counselor. From the 1st appointment she made it evident she was not interested in my problems or continued counseling. I was assigned her through VA after my other counselor moved. My next two appointments were cancelled by Ms. Drews and the third appointment cancelled because of covid pandemic. Without consulting me she closed my file. I would never see her again. Whatever happened to never leave a soldier behind?
