I am a cognitive behavioral therapist who integrates a dynamic approach. This means that I am interested in how your thoughts, emotions and behaviors are related, how they may have manifested from past experiences, and how we can work together to change them in a way that can help you lead a more satisfying life. I treat individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, chronic pain and chronic medical issues, as well as trauma related issues. I enjoy being part of the creative process that can help individuals learn how to better manage their condition and move towards a path of growth and development.
I specialized in health psychology during my graduate training--during my internship, post doc and current work, I worked with individuals suffering from cancer, chronic medical issues and chronic pain. I have also had considerable experience working with individuals suffering from anxiety disorders (especially OCD) and trauma, and am trained in EMDR. I enjoy group and individual therapy, and also provide consultation and supervision.
