About
Release the Pain with Myofascial Release & Craniosacral Therapy
I am a licensed Massage Practitioner that specializes in Myofascial release (John Barnes method), Craniosacral Therapy (Upledger Institute), and Orthopedic Structural Massage (James Waslaski). I was trained in Swedish Massage from the Healing Arts Institute.
Myofascial Release & Craniosacral Therapy is a wholistic approach that manipulates the fascial connective tissue with mild and gentle stretching, mixed with a light touch, similar to the weight of a nickel. In Craniosacral Therapy you can be fully clothed. It's done without oils or lotions and is profoundly relaxing and deeply lasting. It helps to increase better posture alignment, energy, body awareness/flexibility/strength, while decreasing pain. If you are open to this, you will feel a positive effect emotionally, mentally, and physically afterwards.
Orthopedic Massage is amazing technique that easily corrects with joint problems, pain, and structural imbalances. Hard, tight, painful IT bands and limited range of motion problems are quickly resolved.
I have the 'touch' to instinctively know the correct depth for client comfort and for effective fascia release in a gentle, comfortable session.
I have the 'intuition' to know what is needed for the most effective and helpful fascia release, resulting in the reduction of pain (if client came in to relieve pain), comfort (many clients are so comfortable they fall asleep during sessions), and better health (such as from the resulting improved oxygen and blood circulation with the fascia release from the tissues, bones, muscles, organs, and the intracellular levels).
Areas of relief may be for head, back, neck, shoulder, knee, groin pain; incontinence problems, fibromyalgia, low energy, and to return to a healthier function.
Therapeutic help and relaxation for eliminating emotional, physical, and mental pain and stress is given.
Restore structural balance and enhance sport performance. Open joints and range of motion.
Relaxation and stress management in a safe, professional environment.
A wholistic approach is used.
