Dr. Palwai is a good doctor, but his staff is incompetent. I will never go back. Numerous, numerous issues over the years with his office - poorly managed. They've billed incorrectly multiple times, not cancelled appointments with me when he was not going to be in, call me last minute to reschedule, etc. HORRIBLE office management

Dr Palwai seems to be a well educated and very current rheumatologist. I am not impressed in that he seems to be very reluctant to perform a physical exam. He will examine my hands but not look at any other affected joint.
My real concern with him is that he seems to have blind faith in the medications that he prescribes. I have failed to respond to most of the available RA drugs, which seems to baffle him. He believes all patients will show significant (75-90%) improvement. I am no rheumatologist, but I understand that as many as 30% of patients report no improvement.
