I've been a patient of Dr. Sykes for over 10 years. As another reviewer stated, Dr. Sykes is about providing quality dental care, not about selling you services you don't need. I was originally referred to Dr. Sykes by a friend after I broke a tooth. My primary dentists at the time said it would need a crown. I only went to Dr. Sykes for a second opinion and with the hope of saving some money. I did not tell Dr. Sykes my family dentist had already looked at it. . He said yep, I broke off a section of a back molar but the chip was small. He said he could build up the area with dental material and it should last for many years. That visit turned out to be one of the best, as well as one of the most inexpensive, dental visits of my life. (Far better than the $600 plus my original family dentist quoted). That was 10 years ago. I immediately switched to Dr. Sykes and have never looked back. I would highly recommend Dr. Sykes if you are new to the area and looking for a dentist... or are simply trying to find a dentist who is caring and compassionate and doesn't view every patient that comes through the door as a way to make the next boat payment.
