About
Although I specialize in adoption, attachment, trauma, and abuse, I also work with a wide range of clients including large families, homeschooled families, and children with special needs. I work with individuals who have been adopted (children, teens, and adult adoptees), adoptive families, birthparents, and a broad range of family dynamics. I also help with disrupted placements.
I primarily do therapy with the parent and child together versus the traditional therapy where the parent waits in the waiting room. I involve the parents in the therapy process and help the parents and child with attachment issues and behavioral concerns.
For organizational tips, family structuring, and money management, I am happy to do home visits. Setting up a high structure and high nurture environment is the key to success!

I have a passion for helping others. I enjoy helping families through the many challenges and rewards of parenting. Although I have been professionally involved in the field of adoption for over 15 years, my greatest experience has come through living and learning with my own children. My husband and I are blessed to be the proud parents of thirteen children (eleven of which joined our family through the miracle of adoption).
