She announced to my husband the first time she saw him that he had only 6 to 7 months to live. No one in the family was there. He was alone in his hospital room. I told her she had no right to tell a patient that the first time she saw him. I was furious and told her never to go into his room again and dismissed from his case. We had a lot of damage control to do from his primary physician who said he would be the first to say if he had only 6 months to live. Incidentally he lived another year.

I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. I love how attentive they are here. Even when notified that they have a personal phone call, they always wait to take it later. Their full attention is always on me and it makes me feel special.
