State of the art assessment and treatment of ADHD and related conditions often mistaken for ADHD. Don't put yourself or your child on medication for ADHD without a thorough assessment. There are many issues commonly mistaken for ADHD, and many of those issues, such as anxiety or bipolar disorder, are made much worse by the stimulant medications commonly prescribed for ADHD. And, it is not unusual in such cases, that the child made worse by the wrong medication does not return to normal when the medication is discontinued. We can test the effectiveness of any intervention you want to try. We have a computer test that actually measures attention, the Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA). We take children through ten levels of mastering relaxing and focusing to help them learn to focus naturally, with biofeedback and neurofeedback.
