Paul has been a counselor since 1983. He has additional training in Relaxation Techniques, Meditation, Guided Imagery, Integrative Body Psychotherapy, and other non-traditional approaches to healing and growth.
Starting as a volunteer alcoholism counselor in 1983, he went on to become an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (I.C.A.D.C.) and a member of the Board of Directors of the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors. He is currently a Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor.
Additional specialties are: ADHD, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and other mood disorders, Stress management, Anger management, Aspergers Syndrome, coping skills, life skills, personal and spiritual growth.

Paul A. Hood, M.S., L.P.C., is a counselor and psychotherapist practicing in South Evergreen and Bailey, Colorado. He is trained in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, Chemical Dependency Counseling, Codependency Counseling, Grief Counseling, Individual/Group Psychotherapy, Psychodynamic, Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies. He holds a BA in Anthropology /Sociology and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. He is, himself, a recovered alcoholic.Paul has been a counselor since 1983.
