On a Sunday night I called their emergency call line as my 1 year old puppy came downstairs whining , her face was so swollen she couldn't open her eyes. I gave her Benadryl and she and I fell asleep. About 3 hours later she woke me up whining, this time covered in hives. I called Westgate's emergecy line somewhat worried her throat might swell and didn't want to take any chances. Whoever answered the phone hung up before I could finish explaining what happened. I called back and he told me I was being a nuisance and that my dog had an allergic reaction because most Boxer/Shar Pei mixes have them. I was also calling because my pet was in pain/discomfort and felt the need to alert me and was looking for a way to ease her pain until they opened in the morning. I'm 19 years old and was clueless as to why it got worse, so of course I worried. The emergency line is there for a reason and I was amazed at how poorly they treated me. The customer's always right.

I've already been recommending them to everyone I know. I know that any pet would benefit from their care. I feel like they go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I always get the appointment time I want. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. I'm thrilled with how my appointment went. My pet was able to recover quickly under their care. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary.
