DO NOT GO HERE!! My dog became sick recently with allergies to something in the grass, I took her to Village Animal Clinic and at first things seemed good, they fit me in that day last minute, the front desk staff seemed friendly...then enters the vet and not only was she unfriendly, but I'm paying for an exam she barely did, she just takes my word that it seems like allergies and prescribes Clavamox and a steroid shot...not warning me that the steroid can commonly have a bad reaction giving me the option to just try Clavamox first...my dog ended up being allergic to the steroid and it caused her to go DEAF!!! Among other random side effects like puss in her ears, her skin blowing up in rashes everywhere, lameness in her back legs and more!! To top it off, and please READ THIS, ITS IMPORTANT...I told her at the end of our visit my dog's Mother had a light heart murmur which she then ended up in heart failure...and asked if when she listened to my dogs heart 5 or 10 minutes ago if she heard anything...her reply..."Oh yeah, she does have a light heart murmur, but its not bad yet"....I immediately felt she was lying by the way she said it, like she didn't want to get caught not catching something so just say yeah she's got one....I took her to another vet today and sure enough...I had the vet check her heart twice.....NO MURMUR!!!! What kind of shady vet just lies rather than recheck and listen??? My dog was treated like cattle, the attitude here was terrible and I can not say enough that you should not bring your animal here!! I took my dog to Four-Legged Friends because of their amazing reviews and sure enough I was very pleased at how loving and sweet the vet was to my dog.
