What can I say....Horrible! Been going here 5 yrs for my 2 doxies. Went this morn to get their shots. Dr Vaughn was horrible. She approached my dog aggressively, he growled, then she came unglued & pitched a fit. I was in shock. She screamed about winding up in the hospital with dog bite & wasn't going to tolerate this. She recommended a muzzle. I agreed if it made her more comfortable. She came back with thick gloves on and approached the dog aggressively and again he growled and the dog snapped...I was trying to help hold the dog and he mouthed my hand (he does this all the time to me & has NEVER bitten me) she backed up and began ranting she was going to muzzle him (which I had previously agreed to) That he almost bit me and she couldn't have me sue her over it (screaming at me at that point) I assured her my dog wouldn't bite me & I wouldn't sue her. She stormed out of the room slamming the door to return with a vet tech,blanket and muzzle. She lunged at my dog with the blanket and to my horror started aggressively attacking the dog that's when I stopped her and said that's it before she hurt the dog. She began screaming and ranting when I told her I wouldn't bring them back to her...I'd take them someplace else. As she storms out I let the B word fly...boy that upset her! she spun around and began screaming and couldn't believe I called her that! So I let fly again in case she didn't hear it the first time :)! At that point she came unglued more screaming before I told her this conversation is useless...she seemed to shut up and go away at that point. OMG I was speechless. I was in the room next to receptionist with adjoining window. She was just staring in disbelief! The receptionist was so nice to get me their records and recommend another boarding as I have a trip scheduled in 3 weeks...she was great and I truly feel sorry she has to work there. Getting the records took quite a bit as I waited in the room I thanked the receptionist over and over. Then a vet tech (Tom) brought the records staring me down aggressively as if he wants to punch me...I'm like WTH? I exchange words with him asking is there was something he wanted to say? Nope. so I get the papers & leave. As I'm putting my dogs in the car..another customer asks me what happened...I told them and they were not shocked telling me she has had this happened before. Then Tom comes out ( I was told this is Dr. Vaughn's husband)...He begins to scream at me...threatening me telling me he knows who I am and now knows what car I drive...he was mad I called his wife a B...I almost called the police, probably should put a restraining order on him he acts as nutty as his wife.Left wondering should I call police and have restraining order issued for the psychotic people. My advice is STAY AWAY from this psychotic place!
