Best vegetarian in the Florida keys. Worked by offering free services for both the owners and animals. He cared about people and their family members dogs and cats. He put the animals and people first. He never let one of their animals not leave without treatment regardless of cost. Some had no money....but he treated them withouts regard for lack of money. He was well known as doc...and even took time to talk with his clients even while out of the office eating shopping etc. He was an avid fisherman...friends with Ken nytamyer Mr. Rowelll and many others. He attended Texas A@M on a full scholarship in track running the 100 meters. As a D student he attended A@M....Graduating early at the top of his class. He also was an inventor and developed a breathing surgical apparatus for the first vetenarians he worked with. He also spent time as a missionary in Honduras and Nicaragua during the time of the Sandanistas. He helped deliver bibles food water and help with the locals. He sold his practice to go help. Upon returning he was blessed to get his practice back. He gave me two wonderful sisters Sarah and Anna.
We loved eating at Ms. Macs where he answered to people having questions on their animals....He invented the flip hook remover so fish we caught could be released unharmed. He knew every fishing spot without gps....We fished the 3 rockswe found by aligning the wood power line posts that were on shore..only used as points of reference....and we caught many hog snapper fishing with zebcos underwater. But best of all he put his maker first. He never got to patent his products....but he never complained....He helped others. There will probably never be such a large hearted vetenarian out there again with his sense of humor.
He loved Peter sellers especially the scene where Peter Seller has a dog...the person asked may I pet your dog... Peter Sellers says yes....the dog bites... The man says your dog bit me ... Peter Sellers says but that is not my dog. This is the type of humor he had in teaching others to be wary when making sure you pet the right dog...lol
