I adopted two Pugapoos from this vets relative. The puppies were three months when I got them. The previous ovwner gave me this vets information and I called and spoke to him about the puppies, inquiring as to how much he chared for vaccinations and the cost of them getting spade and neutered. I ended up not using him because a co-worked recommended LifeLine Spay and Neuter Clinic in Avondale. I was able to get both puppies done there for the amount I was going to pay to get one done with LCMV. In this trying economy and me trying to save any way posible; I opted for the clinic (by the way, they were terrific) Ph. 404-292-8804. This morning I noticed that one of the puppies had an ingrown toenail (that extra toe that grows on the side with the curled nail) I was so upset when I saw his that I called LCMV to see if he could lend his services. First he said it would be $60 to trip her nails and give an antibiotic...at the end of the conversation he said the cost would be $70. Well, I said that I'd have to wait until Friday (tomorrow) when I got paid to afford this...sorry I only had $40 and was borrowing $20. He got beligerant with me and told me to take my puppies to whomever had spayed and neutered them. He said that if I had come to him in the for the other services he would have considered giving me a discount. I couldn't believe that a professional would act this way. That's like a doctor telling a patient that he won't treat them because they went to someone for services. I'm constantly around pet owners(neighborhood and work), like I said I have two of my own. My feeling were hurt enough for me to post this. Wouldn't trust them with my puppies EVER! You'd better think twice too. By the way, Petsmart is going to trim them BOTH and give one an antibiotic for...hold on to your pants...$46.

I have known this vet for the last 15 years. He and his wife have given the best of care to all my pets and I wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else. Because he now have a mobile clinic he can make home visits, which I find very convenient
