I took my pup in for dental cleaning and found the office staff to be beneficial and professional. Dr. Knighton was extremely attentive and thorough during Milo's exam and did a great job with his cleaning. I live in North San Diego and travel to Los Osos to visit family. I will use Dr Knighton as our primary vet for both of my dogs.

I arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment, but the receptionist was nowhere to be seen. I look around the corner and down the hall but didn't see anyone. I heard people chatting and laughing down the hall, but no one noticed I was there. When the receptionist came out, it was 15 minutes after my appointment time. She scolded ME for being late and said she wasn't sure they could "squeeze me in." I was the ONLY one in the reception area, and no one came in or left in the entire hour I was there. When I explained the issue my cat was having, the staff treated me as if I was an idiot. They asked questions that were completely stupid and unrelated. I explained the several things about my cat's history to them, but they then proceeded to ask me questions that I had just answered. They made suggestions that were so simple even a moron would know to do them. It was as if I had to pass an interview to get to see the Dr -which I finally did get to do after a 45 minute wait. She spent 3 minutes in the room and then left. I never saw her again. The practice isn't known for being particularly caring or attentive; but for many people, it's easier to go there than drive into MB or SLO for care.
