My experience with Dr. Gaines has led me to the opinion that with me and my wife, his primary interest was money. We paid him thousands of dollars to care for our dogs. My wife asked him to make a one time call to a local pharmacy with dogs’ prescription and verify one time with online pharmacy for a dog only prescription so we could save hundreds of dollars versus buying the meds from Gaines. He told my wife he wouldn’t do it and said he was no longer our vet. I called the office to try to see if there was a misunderstanding. He was rude and overbearing. If you look closely at his online reviews you’ll notice similar of his inappropriate behavior. Go somewhere else for your Vet services.
