We have had Dr. Fuller out once, and after our experience, she is banned from our barn. To put it briefly, she was inept, inconsiderate, and absolutely unprofessional. She came out for a VERY mild case of colic, tubed our mare unnecessarily, and incorrectly. She lip twitched a sedated, calm horse so hard that the mare is actually lacerated, and she tubed her incorrectly so that she gushed blood for over thirty minutes. When I say gushed, I mean gushed. We filled an entire outdoor garbage bag with blood soaked rags and there were still buckets full of blood that had just run like a faucet out of her nose. The vet showed a complete lack of concern for the horse, and was exceedingly rude and made personally directed inappropriate comments to the owners. Since our experience we have found out that she has been banned from many local barns in the area due to mistreatment and malpractice. I have heard horror stories that ended up resulting in unnecessary deaths. Just a word to the wise.
