BayWest is a new veterinary clinic in Traverse City, but we bring many years of local experience to the pet owners of our area. Dr. Cozzens has practiced in Traverse City for over 30 years and continues to enjoy the great relationships he has built with people and their four-legged family members in the Grand Traverse Bay area. Dr. Cozzens is a graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. He is actively involved in organized veterinary medicine as the second vice president of the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association and enjoys mentoring veterinary students through MSU. Compassionate care for pets and their people is the foundation on which Dr. Cozzens is building BayWest Animal Clinic.
Whether your pet is "under the weather", needs preventative care or a geriatric wellness plan, our goal is to provide you with excellence in veterinary medical consultation in a positive, attentive environment.
We value the deep satisfaction that the animal-human bond can provide. As we share the warmth of a loving relationship with our furry friends, our own lives are enriched.
