We love Dr. Burke. Approximately four years ago, our dog was hit by a car around 10pm. We called our local veterinary offices and could no response. So I asked on facebook and most suggested him. I was not sure whether or not he would even see us, being that we had never even had our dog there before. Without hesitation, he said he would meet us there. The drive is 45 minutes from our house, but it was and continues to be so worth it. Dr. Burke came in and kept our dog over night for evaluation (I'll mention again he had never even met us). By the time we left his office the night of, it was after midnight and he had already been working all day. He called us bright in early in the morning and informed us our dog was ready to picked up and what to expect. On top of all that, he did not charge us even close to what a normal visit would cost out any of our local vets offices at the time. We have continued to take our dog to him. He and his staff are awesome and willing to help over the phone if possible, rather than making us drive 45 minutes. I also love the laid back demeanor of the office. It's not uncommon to see Dr. Burke working behind the front desk or answering the phone and it's not because he is not extremely busy with patients. He seems like an employer, which says a lot, as well as on of the best veterinarians (along with his colleagues) that I have ever encountered.
