Dr. Davenport is reasonable with the charges/fees and reasons why things need to be done with my pets' BUT the other male vet is not and he charged me $600.00 for my cat that had a small issue that would have cost less. AFTER the fact I was told most of the tests were unnecessary by Dr. Davenport who I should have seen first. This practice is owned by one vet that encourages this behavior. He owns several vet practices in Mich. and other surrounding states. IT is sad because I liked Dr. Davenport for her expertise and followed her from MHS. I left and found someone who will not be so pushy to rack on the charges and fees and work with me. Just be sure and ask lots of questions always and really think about what is actually necessary and what can be done in steps instead of a huge charge like this was for a young cat.
