Yoga Classes with Dylan
Mixed Level Classes
Dylans mixed level classes are a dynamic and creative blend of the best of Kripalu, Iyengar, vinyasa flow and hatha styles of yoga. They are open to all levels, are highly user-friendly and individualized as needed to help you get the most out of your yoga practice.
Classes are taught based on the needs and goals of the participants, and begin with centering, connecting to the breath and meditation. The body is prepared for asanas with Kripalu-style creative movement or vinyasa flows. In classes with Dylan you can expect creative variations as well as traditional asanas and sun salutations.
When the body is prepared and the breath is synchronized to movement, we progress to sustaining yoga poses to built strength, flexibility and focus. Breathing, energetic engagements, hand positions and attention to alignment enhance the practice and your health. Your practice will be brought to completion in a restorative pose, leaving you feeling strong, relaxed and centered.
Dylan also offers chair yoga classes for people who choose not to practice yoga on the floor.
