I went to the Arkansas Pioneer Chiropractic Clinic at the recommendation of a friend who had been twice. They told me there were no "consultation fees" on the first visit. However, there was a $75.00 fee for an exam and $225 dollar fee for ex-rays. What a surprise. Misleading to say the least. I didnt want the ex-rays because I just had a little tension in my neck and lower back. However, the dr. said he wouldn't touch me without an ex-ray. The Usual extortion tactics. During the exam he pulled up on my head and then put his weight on my head and pushed down with a lot of force. When I came out of the exam I still had the tension but also had pain in my neck like "whip lash" and it still hurts 2 weeks later. When I yield to the pressure and went to the next appointment the ex-rays were so dim you could barely see the details. And the machine that took them looked like a ventage 1960's equipment. They never put me on a heat machine, a roller machine, or a tens machine or anything before putting me on the adjustment table. I'm sorry I let him put his hands on my head. Now I do have a problem that needs fixing. And i'm out 300 dollars for nothing. Its the same ole' tactics they have been using since the 1940's.
