I saw Barbara for a total of about 5 years on a weekly basis. She was always compassionate, attentive, empathetic, and knowledgeable, in helping me deal with problems in my marriage. Barbara helped me to understand boundaries, and my co-dependency issues with my husband. Unfortunately, for Barbara, I had a really hard time in what she termed " holding my husband's feet to the fire" in an effort to get him to be accountable for his behaviors, and me for my inability to follow through in this endeavor. Barbara worked on my self-esteem issues and was always so patient, her kindness knew no bounds as she saw my struggles with trying ti make me see, that I had to make him take responsibility for rge cruel ways he treated me, if the marriage was to survive. I had to stop the sessions, because I took an apartment with my daughter, therefore unable to continue therapy. Ten years later and still in this destructive marriage, I need Barbara more than ever, as he is a full-blown Narcissist, and I don't know how much more toxicity my disabled body and mind can take. I highly recommend this very compassionate, highly effective Therapist! You won't regret it! it may kist save your sanity, if not your life!
