As our Clinical Director, I am committed to have all of our therapists provide every client who enters our doors with the most time, cost, and outcome effective outpatient psychological services available.
If I have the privilege to be your therapist, I promise that we will quickly identify and keep each session focused on what you concretely and measurably want to accomplish in your counseling process.
My passion is working with people in relationships. I have worked with thousands of couples in creating and sustaining loving, joyful relationship in a range from pre-marriage counseling to couples who are struggling in family separation, divorce, and blending families. I focus couples and families on what works to have a relationship loving, healthy, and functional rather than on what went wrong? In 2013, I created Great Relationship Sense, LLC and teach a course for parents and other adults helping children family separation and divorce at www.divorce-classroom.com
I enjoy working with parents to learn, establish, and maintain a consistent, proactive, collaborative parenting process that children understand and embrace.
I also have expertise in trauma resolution, working with clients who have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, life threatening accidents, and trauma exposure to soldiers, police personnel, EMR/EMT/other medical personnel. I incorporate the use of leading edge technology and Somato-Emotional Release to resolve trauma quickly.
As a licensed clinical social worker with over 35 years of clinical experience, I have worked with thousands of individuals, couples, business owners, top executives & managers, athletes, and entertainers helping them and their organizations achieve and sustain peak performance. My blend of expertise is in human creativity, relationship building, effective communication, change process, problem-solving, and mind-body technology that sets me apart from other therapists in getting good things to happen for my clients.
I use a "functional" approach to counseling and am exceptionally active in therapy, creating a "dig down deep" and "see the big picture" experience for clients. My tendency to be fun-loving and playful in style provides clients with a sense of emotional relief, even in the most difficult situations. My "get down to business" approach keeps clients confident that good work is getting done in each session.
My clients range from age 16 through adult.
