I attended Pine River Center, 1975-76, for training in psychotherapy. I believed my previous experiences as psychiatric social worker lacked skills that I found at Pine River Center.

I had long believed that academia provided the sciences and textbook knowledge; however, Pine River Center helped me acquire insight and skills to transform that knowledge into 'Art'. I believe psychotherapy may best be described as an art in stead of a science.
