Refuses to answer phones, my doctors can’t even get a hold of them. I might have to get evaluated and pay for it even though my doctors could help if they’d answer their calls.

It seemed suspicious that they didn't display their credentials anywhere. If they have credentials, they should make them more obvious. I definitely think that I could have gotten much better service somewhere else. I was amazed at how poorly they treated me. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. Although I may get an answer initially to my phone call, I am often incessantly transferred, even to the point my call is ultimately lost and I have to call back. This is particularly frustrating when it is during the only hour I have to call our teenager who is there, every other day. I am concerned that we have never met our child's doctor, that the facility has no desire to set up a face-to-face family meeting with all the family to help with the teen's treatment plan. They may call one at a time to SEEK information only, without having a give and take about the plan for the child. This place apparently thinks the family should not bother their own child's doctor, just talk to the social worker. Having dealt with many doctors and many social workers, I find this a recipe for tragedy if the social worker does not think something I tell her is as important and I KNOW it is, so she chooses to omit it when reporting to the doctor. This is the exact type thing that happened after our child's first suicide attempt when she was in another facility. Parkridge Valley really needs to omit the statement from its brochure on its website about it including families in the treatment planning -- it certainly was not true for us, nor another family who wrote a review as far back as 2009.
