Medallion Care is the best mental health facility I've been to. I got along with most of the staff and clients. I know one reviewer said they favor certain clients. They favor you if you behave, are respectful, don't steal etc. Some clients come there, talk trash, bring drugs, etc. and expect to be treated the same way as the people who behave. Not going to happen. The food is great. They order out every Monday and Friday. Most of the staff is very supportive. They are laid back and don't pressure you into getting a job. You can go at your own pace. In the beginning one doctor was snotty to me but we got along after a while. One case manager was a total headache but all the others were at least ok. Several were outstanding.

Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. It bothered me that they didn't have their credentials displayed. It made me wonder whether or not they even had any. They definitely favor certain clients, and make an extra effort to help those clients. I was afraid that they wouldn't help me if they didn't like me.

All the time! the waiting rooms are always packed and It seems as if they are more concerned about quantity over quality

Yes, they were able to do almost nothing they originally said they could

No, it was obvious the staff didn't think he/she was qualified
Does this provider always take that extra step to make you feel special?
Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond

No, they didn't show any sympathy or concern
Was it clear that this provider takes pride in the appearance of his/her office?
Absolutely not, the office was disgusting
