The background / induction process, which I admittedly have little patience when completing, was abbreviated when I shared this concern. There was little resistance from Dr. Kramer to get down to business. She is a direct communicator, which some may find brash, but I wanted it and shared that with her. I have no time for a therapist to feed me what I want to hear. She helped me troubleshoot my issue, provided options from different treatment modalities, and then tailored them to fit what I could adopt, given my intellectual and emotional limitations.

I sought her help for a food addiction two years ago and am now down over 70 pounds, which I believe is a reasonable measure of her success in helping me to achieve insight, learn new tools, and then apply them effectively.
