For 14 years, I have worked with teens in adolescent residential settings as well as hospital settings and community mental health centers.

My practice offers a blending of my pediatric, addiction medicine, and anesthesia experience as well as a background in psychodynamic therapy.

I am often asked what my specialty is. The list of disorders varies, but often it is almost easier to say, "talking to angry teenagers". Discovering why a child is irritable is often the journey we undertake.

Services There are of course multiple disorders I treat outside those in the adolescents. Each practitioner has his or her strengths. Discontinuing addictive tranquilizers for more main stream treatments of Anxiety and managing the emotional aspect of Chronic Pain would be two areas of focus for me as a psychiatrist, as well as managing medications in other mood disorders.
