Dr. Duson sees clients in her private practice on Thursdays and Saturdays. She is a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider in Texas, as well as a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She works from a variety of orientations, drawing from those that her the most helpful to each individual person. She has been a psychologist since 1977 and continues to cherish the opportunity to both assist and learn from her clients. She has always respected her clients' courageous and creative approaches to coping, as well as their wisdom in knowing when to seek assistance. Dr.Duson does not accept insurance, but will provide clients with a statement that they can submit to their insurance companies for reimbursement at the out-of-network rate. She works with adult individuals, couples and families who are addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, abuse, identity development, grief and loss, chronic illness or pain, adjustment to change, cultural struggles, interpersonal conflict, reproductive concerns, loneliness, anger and spiritual conflicts, to name but a few. Her sessions are by appointment, and she will return messages received by her answering service as promptly as possible.
